The Bopper Nation 4 Days of Christmas [Tits & Clits]

It the official countdown til the One Year Anniversary of Bopper Nation[dot]com and with us being just four days away from the 24th of July it is time to start celebrating and building up momentum prior to the BIG event, here we are making NOIZE of our own.

So who better to start things off than our Hungarian lads, Tits & Clits, who just recently did a HUGE Podcast for Bopper Nation prior to the most recent Mr. Vega‘s.

Tits and Clits, one of our earliest, and biggest supporters, a group that if I personally owned a label right now and had investors at my disposable I would be in Hungary nabbing these guys and Americanizing em and then taking over the world with em. Might have to change their name to T & C, but we all know what it means anyways!

It was with our first and one of our earliest releases, the Tits and Clits remix of Daft Punks – Prime Time of Your Life that caught the attention of our main Man and Founding father of Bopper Nation, Felix Da Housecat. This tune earned a spot on his Essential Mix, released in 2009 on BBC. What else can I say about these boys, well to be simple minded, one of their more recent remixes released on the site today, has the word wolf and I love Wolves. But seriously Wolfmother is the shit….and damn right A New Moon is rising.

I’d like to also take this time to honor Malo and his label Giga Beat, he has also played a huge part in Bopper Nation, sending tunes of his own and sharing his Giga lads.

Last and certainly not least I’d love to tap my hat off to Ektiv Management, Krisztian you have introduced us to sooo much Hungarian Talent…we can only continue to thank you by promoting it as much as possible on our blog: Headshot Boyz, Slap in the Bass / Dirty Monkeez, We Plants are Happy Plants ETC ETC

OH AND OF COURSE BIG UPS TO GIGA, EKTIV, MALO, TITS AND CLITS for letting us host the Pill Popper remix contest! It was a pivotal moment for our blog and we will always remember it!

Oh how I love the Hungary team Ektiv Management has so kindly been blessing us with time after time again! Today I’m fortunate to share two incredible remixes and one killer mix that will surely get anyone into the world of fidgeting Headshotboyz and turn their insides out!

Micky Slim & Stupid Fresh v. Virus Syndicate - Skank Out (Headshotboyz Remix)

Each Remix brings it’s own thunder, ‘Skank Out’ is more tribal and ‘Poor Misunderstood Me’ is the kind of song that makes me smile and shiver with envy. And about 240 into ‘Poor Misunderstood Me’ we are allowed to catch our breaths only to be beat again.

[The Storm pt. 1]

Here are the Banger tunes and remixes that I know many are hungry for. It is after all Friday the kickstand that holds up the week..so KICK it over, knock the week down and expose the weekend! First off is the Hungarian Power lads: Headshot Boyz! They’ve kicked things up a notch on our site before and everyone we’ve been blessed to feature on the site from Hungary has made me hungry to visit their club scene! Second up is Mercurius FM, who is no stranger to Thee Nation and has been delivering amazing remixes. His Skeleton remix stood out, which is saying a lot since there are more of those than I can count out now!

Both remixes are of tunes that are being tackled by a lot of producers right now, ‘Peanuts Club’ and ‘Night by Night,’ but BOTH artist deliver something special to these remixes that make em stand out from the lot!

Filewile Number One Kid EP drops October 16th, 2009.

Sometimes I want rock with me elctro and sometimes I want Hip Hop. ‘Number One Kid’ comforts my hip hop craving, but does so in a unique way. The vocals on the track are soothing and it’s nice to break away from the more stereotypical sounding vocals that are often found in electronic music. Also included herein is the Mercury remix, which focuses more on the electronic aspect. So if there was something enjoyable about the original Number One Kid, but the vocals were too overpowering and hip hop for the Electrunkie than indulge in the Mercury remix which sustains the beats and is more conservative with it’s use of Vox.

Headshotboyz

There is something beautiful about the electrical currents in Budapest, first Tits & Clits and now HeadshotBoyz, I am feeling overwhelmed! Headshotboyz who have shared the stage with the likes of  Hostage is paving their way through the music industry and leaving behind destruction. As for their upcoming release on Dandy Kid Records (their own EP as well as a shab Ruffcut – hustler remix) we can expect them to keep to “their sound (which) generally sits between tech-house and fidget-house, but they like to branch out into different genres, such as jazzy house, hiphop, techno, and dubstep.”

DJ Prym (Kristof Ambrozy) and Snifter (Lajos Nadhazi) first came into the scene on the DnB train in separate carts, but eventually paired together creating a “bastard sound of electro, breaks, tech-house, ‘blog-house,’ ghetto-tech, crunk, baile funk, 2step and nu-rave.” Make sure to check out more of them at their myspace and be on the look out for more Hungary artists via Ektiv Management and as a little funfact, ‘be on the look out for’ the release of Headshotboyz just-for-laughs’ remix of backstreet boys – everybody!
