Call On Me

Hey Boppers.

Hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed yourself. This week we’ve got 2 indie French House cuts.

First is a track by French producer Pierre De La Touche. Its called Fill Me Up and its from his second solo EP. It features a fun and energetic sample that was really pumped up into a fun House jam.

Our next track is a bootleg remix of Eric Prydz’ (or Together’s depending on what story you believe) Call On Me. The original is your classic catchy hook with a big beat underneath, but this remix takes it to the next level and adds in a smooth baseline under it all.

Everyone Is Someone In LA

Hey yo Boppers.

Late post I know… I was out and about in LA this weekend and forgot to prepare my post! Oh well, to make up for it I’ve got 2 really slick jams for you.

The first track is by Sébastien Léger off his 2nd LP, King Size. The drums and baseline in this track are completely House and completely rad. Thoroughly enjoyable groove. The intro is weird, but yeah, the rest of it is gold. Maybe I’ll make an edit of it…

The next track is by Bopper favorite, Eric Prydz. It’s an 8+ minute epic from his debut release on his own label, PRYDA. Very big sounding and synthy. Epic drops and builds. Very good production from 2004. Also, quite a lot of Moroder flair thrown in here.

Mike and this is the tune where Prince himself is going to finally tap out, quit the lawsuits and write up his own tune, “We all Wanna be Felix”

Time for another Mercurius FM Monday… Some good jams below. I know in this post I’m really hitting hard with ridiculous producers and their old material. But the fact that this stuff is still so rad and solid, even today is a true testament to the time and dedication it takes to master a craft.

Yes.

The first track is a mega track, remixed into a mega remix. To start things off, we have a dope hook sorted out by Swedish House Mafia member, Steve Angello. Then, if that wasn’t enough, Eric Prydz tightens it up and makes it more club oriented transforming it into one of the most epic and uplifting dance tracks ever made. Buy the full single here.

Finally, we have an old French House favorite by LifeLike. Hot off his 2002 debut EP “The Cult” this track was a favorite of many DJ’s including DJ Falcon. Lifelike uses his signature sound on this track, as usual, a tight and thick lowend coupled with an 80s hook. Fans of Felix’s studio albums should enjoy this track. This one is rare and out of print.
