You may have noticed there was no Mercurius FM Monday this week. We will resume normal posting again next week. I took a break off this week to announce Felix’s new album. Also I wanted to make an announcement for my first official remix release which just came out on PACHA RECORDINGS. Its a remix of dance music veteran AZZIDO DA BASS.

In this episode, we’ve a classic remix and another gem from the vault.

First up we have some dirty electro house by French producer Aysam. This track came out in 2004 on Cosmo Vitelli’s label, I’m A Cliche’. This track has a sort of Mr Oizo vibe, but more glued together and clubby. A good eerie track to throw in your mix for a break.

This next remix is of a track that has been in numerous dance compilations and mix sets for the last 10+ years. Its been mixed, remixed and edited countless times. This is easily, by far ,the most famous of all the remixes, the Timo Maas remix. Good example of UK wobbles and garage basslines. Look out for Azzido Da Bass’s upcoming release in January 2011, This Is Not A Love Song featuring a remix by yours truly.

This site is overwhelmed with great music from great artists and unfortunately there is such thing as ‘too much of a good thing.’ Which makes me wonder if a lot of the good music that has touched down on this website is accidentally overlooked. With that being said, Low Life Inc. and Play Me Records delivers a massive attack of remixes by B. Rich, Dino and Malo of Lea Luna and her lovely tune ‘Leaving for Mars.’ Until now, La Roux remixes have been the dominant force invading the blog-o-sphere and although Bopper Nation missed the ‘hype’ of ‘In For the Kill’ or ‘Bulletproof’ our website is going to be Thee Location where a new fiery blast of ‘wah wahs’ ignites a pretty Diva and turns her into a fiery goddess.

*wah wahs or wa was = description of the bass injected sound..most commonly found in dubstep and ‘fidget’

An important day for Coco Machete and the release of the single “I Want U” from Azzido Da Bass! “The track features vocals from Digitalism’s Jence who lends a remix on the track plus a twisted remix from Istanbul’s Gooseflesh. ‘I Want U’ picks up where Azzido Da Bass’ last major single ‘Doom’s Night’ left off- a floor filling electro house stomp with an added punk swagger from Jence.
