September 21st 2009!!! Mark your calendars, that amazing artist we featured labor day weekend operating under the name Phonat is releasing his album self titled album! “Fake Blood, Steve Aoki, Annie Mac, Annie Nightingale, Andy George, Rob da Bank and Pete Tong have all been championing the producer since last year, when singles ‘Incredible Sound’, ‘Ghetto Burning’ and ‘Learn To Recycle’ marked him as one to watch for 2009 and beyond.  Now readying the release of his eponymous debut album, Phonat has created a panoply of chopped up riffs swirled around murky basslines, a world where guitar-driven dancefloor fillers meet bleep-filled fantasies for fun, friendship and possibly more.”

After listening to this album all the way through I was unable to find ONE tune that didn’t move me. The album starts off like any good story with a great catchy hook and it never once loses its pace. Each tune on the album brings it own unique sound to the table! With back to back match ups of amazing tunes like ‘Love Hits the Fan” followed by “Ho Visto Un Quadro Verde” I find myself greedy and wanting more and when the album ends, repeat!
