Hey Boppers! It’s time for some more free tunage! I don’t have much to say this week, so I’ll just let you get the tail end of your Freq’n Weekend on!
First off is a remix from my buddy Patch Werk that received support from the original artists. He does mostly Heavy Electro stuff and is a pretty sick producer. Check out his tunes here and follow him on le book of face here.
His bio reads like this:
Patch Werk, real name Aleksey Pavlov, is a San Luis Obispo based DJ and Producer with a ample passion for upbeat electro and progressive house. With his recent start in 2010 Patch Werk has asserted himself onto the scene quicker than most, having his first Beatport release in April of 2012.His most recent releases have already seen support from the likes of Markus Schulz, Organ Donors, Taylor Thomas, Freq Status, Valerna, Hi-Tem and Ryan Enzed. Currently Patch Werk attends Cal Poly, in San Luis Obispo, where he received an undergraduate degree in Physics and is now pursuing a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. His understanding of these complex subjects greatly influences how he produces music. Taking a very scientific and mathematical approach, in the studio Patch Werk can be seen analyzing waveforms and graphic equalizers to make sure every frequency sounds perfect. As a devoted student and musical producer Patch Werk shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
And now, today’s dose of Trap! I don’t know who A-Rock and Hilton Farris are, but I’m sure we’ll all find out more in the future. This dude A-Rock’s soundcloud is right here. This tune is an obvious remix choice of an instant classic from not so long ago. I’m sure you’ll love it.. or hate it. Check it out:
And… another from the pair… this time a Big Room banger.
Alright, I gotta throw this one in here. It’s just crazy. It’s kind of like Munchi, but not. Hah. LeDoom & Tony Mundaca bring it hard w/ this Cumbia vs. Trap thang, “CumbiaTRON“.
Ok, Boppers, I kept it short and sweet this week because I’ve got a ton going on. Expect me to blabble some more for ya next time! If you have suggestions for the column, please leave them in the comments. Enjoy these tunes and the rest of your Freq’n Weekend!
