This is a song for the mature and although it may bring up awkward memories of the recent ice-skating movie, with Will Ferrel and that Napolean Dynamite kid, I can assure you that the song came first! Queen & Vanguards Flash (2003) is a beast to be reckoned with and the Darell v. Hi:Fi is the fruit us electronic junkies hunger for!

This song has made a mess of things time after time and although it quite similar to Laidback Luke – My God, I figured it was appropriate we get the Big Cheese up on the site (after all we have had direct requests). And what better time to release a track from the Mau5 then following the release of his latest album ‘For Lack of a Better Name,’ and his latest performance at HARD in Los Angeles.
The track is FML. And it a Track of the Week to reckon with. If anyone plans to spin this out, I recommend using it wisely. The audience will be pumped with rounds from the mau5’s laser ‘pew pew’ and kicked heavily by his thundering bass! It has been three weeks since this song was released on youtube and the feedback that Chewy Chocolate Cookies received was tremendous! This track was made by Chewy Chocolate Cookies as a gift to Felix Da Housecat & Gift to the Bopper Nation! I just want to add that this is it as far as Prince Remixes go. The original is great, we had a couple really amazing remixes from the contest: Disco Villains, Amplid, the winners etc. But after this it is time to move onto the the next Felix Da Housecat single, ‘LA Ravers!’ Thank you Chewy Chocolate Cookies, for not only sharing your world with the Bopper Nation in music, but also giving us a place to stay when we visit!

I am talking about tunes that don’t have an expiration date, music that never tires and always makes the dance floor beat. The first time I heard this track I was passed out in the passenger seat of a long car ride and when this song came on my body was jolted awake and I felt alive again. The powerful production of Donovan mixed in with the passionate vocals of Tellier. When a song has a pulse with a rhythm so strong that it can’t be ignored, like an earthquake through the body, one must accept the existence of soul and be reminded of the beauty of art.
