sharooz_saccharin_sonicc_remix.mp3

Major Gratz to Sharooz for taking on a Label and putting his great talent to use as an artist to scout and do some awesome A & R. His first remix representing the label, ‘Saccharin’ remixed by SonicC is a great way to illustrate his knack and eye for talent. SonicC who made some great headway with his tune, Stickin’ continues to impress with other releases and this remix is no different

“La Bombe is the new focus of producer and DJ, Sharooz.

The mission: Represent the best in new, dirty dancefloor electornica. La Bombe will be home for all new Sharooz productions, plus original tracks and featured remixes from blogger all stars, seasoned production stalwarts, and up-and-coming young blud well worth the props.

With A&R under the watchful eye of Sharooz, his own productions are the bench-mark for anything set to grace La Bombe. Sharooz’s productions boast more than a clutch of leading taste-maker fans including 2 Many DJs, Moby, Mylo, Erol Alkan, Boys Noize, and Kissy Sell Out; an appeal which hasn’t gone unnoticed by club promoters, securing him DJ bookings across the UK, USA, France, Switzerland, Russia, Spain, Denmark and Sweden..

This, taken from La Bombe’s first release, underlines all that is good and worth looking forward to from La Bombe.

Miami wunderkind, SonicC, takes on the challenge as debut remixer grinding his own brand of post-banger onto Sharooz’ debut for the label, ‘Saccharin’.

‘Saccharin’ will be available to download in full quality from mid-February.

Erol Alkan, Hot Chip, Track of the Month

december 2009 erol artist Erol Alkan, Hot Chip, Track of the Month

Happy Holidays, Prepare for the New Year with one of the most RESPECTED and UNDER RATED LEGENDS..ERRRrrOoool Alkan and his remix of Hot Chip’s tune ‘Boy From School.’

Only the extended version for the Bopper Nation because we NEVER ever EVER stop!

Erol Alkan has a resume that would fill up the whole page of Bopper Nation. From his rowdy club shows to his wicked collaborations to his ingenious remixes Erol has always been the one to KEEP the FUNK alive. But above all else he is humble and would never dream of talking so positively about himself.

But, ‘Don’t Believe the Hype’ listen to the music yourself.

Hot Chip - Boy From School (Erol Alkan's Extended Re-rework)

This remix and song strangely reminds me of Radiohead, which makes me even more happy. Without a doubt this tune is a track of the week/month. From the first time I heard it to each time that I put it on and feel the rhythm lay out it’s eerie vocals and the cold dark deep tone reminds me what it’s like to be a ‘boy from school.’

Track of the Week/Month Afrojack

Gobble Gobble Gobble. Looks like our Track of the Week fell on Thanksgiving this year!
november 2009 l e4b903073d934e72a6dfdbc65bcd0e56 Track of the Week/Month Afrojack

Spencer & Hill - Cool (Afrojack Remix)

Featuring Afrojack’s remix of ‘Cool’ as a Track of the Week was an unanimous decision. Rising artist like Afrojack remind me why I live and breathe the air of blissful audio waves. His music nestles right in there with a category of tunes I like to call bubbling and it mixes perfectly with the acid like tones of house, but also has the strength and power to match the electro scene. His remix of Riverside was one of the earlier tunes to catch my attention, but I still find myself playing out his Moombah remix and let us not forget his original hits too!

The ‘Cool’ remix contains many of the elements that make up my love and enjoyment of Afrojacks music. It has those bubbling tones and fun vocals, “So what I really wanna say is…” but most importantly his music never lets you get bored by conservatively switching things up throughout the song. The important thing to notice is Afrojack’s control, he plays with a great deal of elements that can be full blown abused, such as the sirens and bubbling wah wahs, but he keeps it together and at times where most artist would find themselves leaning on a particular sample for 3 minutes he knows exactly when to drop and breakdown each song.

Track of the Week, Enjoy the Silence

Dedicated to the man on the road, Papa Fe! Safe travels and try to Enjoy the Silence whenever possible..if possible…full time Mr. Mama and Touring DJ. Sleep and Silence may be limited, but it definitely makes one appreciate it more. Boppers this song doesn’t need any introduction and I’m not posting the original for download because there is NO reason why all of you shouldn’t already have it and if not go buy it or find some way to get it asap! Why am I posting a wind down song at the start of the weekend, because there is nothing more beautiful then the ‘calm before the storm.’

Exclusive Electric Sex

the music single 300x300 Exclusive Electric Sex

Electric Sex
[DJ Ruckus, Cory Enemy, Illuminati, Dillon Francis, M.P. & Akira]

November 17th is the official release of DJ Ruckus’ Electric Sex’ with productions and works by Cory Enemy, DJ Ruckus, Akira, M.P. and remixes from Illuminati and Dillon Francis!

The original/main works of ‘Electric Sex’ and ‘Double Negative’ are worth checking out as soon as they become available! [purchase single here]. Until then…enjoy these three remixes of ‘Electric Sex’ that we are officially releasing at Bopper Nation!

DJ Ruckus ft. Akira, M.P. - Electric Sex (Cory Enemy Radio Edit)

Each of different spins on ‘Electric Sex’ bring something of merit and contain the respective artist unique and different styles while maintaining the essence of the original ‘Electric Sex.’ The Radio Edit by Cory Enemy contains his heavy riff signature, but more importantly in it’s firepower is a sense of maturity and organization. Finding that happy medium and control of when to drop that menacing bass is what separates the hard from the ‘happy hardcore.’  With sexy beeps and rainy sound waves the Dillon Francis remix is the perfect tune to get the bodies sweating on the dance floor. The Illuminati remix slowly builds up into a frenzy of noise which will surely imprison the bodies in dance, play at your own risk!

I will once again repeat, ‘Double Negative’ is one hell of a track too, with an original and Illuminati remix that are worth checking out as soon as they become available!
