Thank You

From Justin. TV to reality, a Bopper convention in la la land at the Avalon in LA one night and another at the Palms in Gutie World Las Vegas where the puppeteer uses mezcal and his instruments to control the crowd with electricity and vibrations. The show Saturday opened with Tits & Clits remix of Prime Time foreshadowing a dirty evening with Felix’s record breaking number of guests crowding the stage and DJ Booth. The show on Sunday was a different beast all together. Without a planned set Felix declared his whole library fair game and even took requests. The show never would have ended if it were up to the Boppers and once the staff realized this they stepped in pulling the cord, literally, but not before Radiohead – Exit Music (for a film) was played.

Bopper Weekend

Listening to Felix Cartal tunes through headphones and on your computer is no justice to the experience of feeling them reverberate through your body in a live performance. The death siren of Skeleton sends chills down your spine as you anxiously anticipate the drop. Each track from the next becomes heavier and heavier as the ground shakes so hard from the bass and treble that cups are falling off the tables.

A two story warehouse and a double vodka redbull that cost $22; Danceism may have had the essence of a ‘frat party’ (analogy surfaced by Heartscreams), but with full access to the stage I wasn’t complaining. The intimacy of the small venue was filled with Cartal’s music and the way he conducted his mechanical orchestra there might as well have been thousands of people there. *Hats off to his deadly drops of FDHC‘s Kickdrum and Elvis as well as a personal favorite song of mine, Birdy Nam Nam- The Parachute Ending (Vitalic Remix).

Hello Bopper Nation. We are going to try something new..completely experimental. ..and feel free to comment and let me know if it don’t work. My Poetry (afflicted wolf) + Your music (music submitted to the site)..and for the record these 3 people’s votes over rule all in the matter: DJ So What, Kuriaki and Dystopop (since it’s their music that’s involved)…but of course King Fe’s vote overrules all and he may axe it. Feedback nation.

I just want to listen to music through the headphones of the globe. I’ll mix their screams with the cries of laughter. I’ll cross over from obese greed and drown it in tragedy. I’ll take one shot to a building and ignore the weight of bombs we drop to compensate for our more expensive lives. I’ll bask in the glory of being able to eat the African families weight, malnourished an all. First off, here is LA William’s Prince Remix (don’t worry boppers he is not in the contest, just shedding some exclusive light on the Bopper Nation!

If you have’t seen it yet, the 110+ entries have been narrowed down into a top 15 and will again be narrowed down into the final top 5.  What we are asking of you, thee boppers is that you show some support by listening to the entries, leaving us feedback and comments on the ones you think should be the winners.
