I’ve been quiet on the blogscene for a bit, but it doesn’t mean I’ve been absent from music. I pop in and out occasionally to see what is going on, sometimes it sounds like the same Ol’ noise but every once in awhile I hear something new again. Every once in awhile there is some hot new sounds backed by creative individuals, that are responsible for spinning the musical axis in another direction. Just every once in awhile *wink.
Anyways, check out this Essential mix by Rustie done for BBC and let me know what you think. It’s perfect blend of music, a lot of different genres and styles beautifully mixed. It starts off with some more hip-hop based styles – but around the 27 minutes there is that bass that I love and right at the 30 minute mark is where I just absolutely fall in love from there on out – starting with the track previewed below!
