Sharooz, Phonat and their excellent team of fellow artists will once again be taking a crack at Phonat’s latest single ‘Love Hits the Fan.’ Which is scheduled to be released within the next 10 weeks!

Coco has done it again…
First release of 2010 for Coco Machete Records! Chicago House inspired SCNDL has released a killer tune and some awesome Cross the Lantic fellows are getting hot and heavily involved in helping make this release a major success!

Time for a special installment of Mercurius FM Mondays… in this issue we get some Chicago House action and some nice dream Euro synthy House.

Our warm up track today is by Chicago born singer, Kim English. I first discovered this song years ago as a rip from a Todd Edwards DJ set. It’s got a really fun and catchy chorus. The production is classic 1994 House style, with lots of watery rhodes and Jackin’ drums.

The next track is a real synthy and dreamy one remixed by Ernest Saint Laurent. The original is something that we all know and have heard in caveman commercials… This version was playlisted by Thomas Bangalter, DJ Falcon, & Cassius as part of their TOGETHER Tour in the earlier part of 2000′s.

Pretty Lights again breaks me back to the romantic state Ellie Goulding had me in, but then the electrical cord sparks and suddenly I’m at mercy to high paced volts with arcade coin sounds and sad piano riffs.
Crookers Ft. Soulwax & Mixhell - We Love Animals (Religion remix)
Nick & Kevin from Religion never cease to amaze me. There is much potential within these two and I am happy to know them because one day they will be larger than life and too cool too associate with us #boppers…but for now they are rocking that Bn sticker proudly on their laptop and continue to surprise us with their originals and remixes. This Soulwax/Crookers mix of Animals has sparked a flame ever since it hit the Bunsen burner.
Dylan Rhymes v Tom Real - Godzilla (Fussy Boy remix)
And just in case everything was too soft and not deadly enough for those dirty hardcore rocketeering Bopper types. I’ve unleashed ‘Godzilla’ with the help of Dylan Rhymes and Tom Real, remixed by Fussy Boy. Lot 49 is responsible for this menacing beast and its angry roar. So enjoy the sound of crunching hardware and prepare to be floored.

Welcome to this installment of Mercurius FM Monday… we’ve been going strong for a while now, but don’t think I’m running out of posts. There’s still tons more classics to share with you.
Our first track is a classic cut from French House rockers, Archigram. This came out in 2003 on the legendary Crydamoure record label. It’s main musical component is fantastically sampled and then layered in with some thick house beats and buzzing synths. As with all of Archigram’s trax, its a very moody and overdrive drenched track, giving it a very raw and dirty sound.

Stuart Price, Jacques Lu Cont, Les Rythmes Digitales, Pour Homme, Thin White Duke… Man With Guitar. These are all the same person. The Man With Guitar alias was only used on a single release on Kitsuné. It was later revived for a remix/edit of Madonna (of which the original was produced by Stuart Price also). Its said Stuart Price was one of the first people to use a white noise sweep in his builds… thats amazing!

Sticky K - California EP Sampler
Sticky K has a new EP coming out on Dubsided and he slipped us a sampler. So much to look forward to in 2010 in regards to Sticky, remix of the Crookers next single coming out as well as another EP on Southern Fried in May! Keep your eyes peeled and your ears perked up because the tunes are going to keep popping out of this one like the octo-mom!
