For some time now we’ve tried different ways of having multiple artist (at the same time) featured on the site. Each method had a fault: dropping 5 artist in one day, spaced 2 hours apart from the next, with a full feature = overwhelming content. Putting up artist music with my poetry felt too narcissistic and unrelated to the content, despite each artist being okay with it. Having a ‘Somebody Sunday’ event where we feature three artist and have people vote wasn’t too bad of an idea, but voting is voting.

As Thomas Edison once said “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”With that being said ‘Musical Meditation’ is a collection of tunes that have been marinating in the audio locker. A mixture of left over songs from artist already featured, plus an assortment of soundcloud and email entries is now a compiled blog entry titled ‘Musical Meditation.’ Without a focus on ‘whos who’ but a focus more on the music. Expect to see more of the artist that we enjoy! Give em love with downloads and comments!

“I would like to note that a feature of this kind is meant to be in no way an insult to the artist and work”

why would you even say that? this is an obvious “courtesy” post. you’re sucking off cory idiot, not these other bullshit artists. give it up. no need to make up some “meditational” bullshit post. let’s be honest here…..

Check out http://earmilk.com Suicide Sundays. You’re right though I DONT need to say it…but it’s not a ‘courtesy post.’ No need for such a pessimistic attitude, its insulting to the artist who contributed their music! I wasn’t going to approve your comment, but I decided to leave it up to see if anyone agrees with you. <3 xoxo wolf

p.s. you know you’re doing something right when the Haters come out to play.
