JACKIN’

Yo Bopperz!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas/Holiday weekend! Mine was very chill, mostly playing video games and some studio time. How bout you?

artistandmusic Sega CD JACKINI actually got one of these for Christmas!! YES!!

For today’s post we go back to some second generation Chicago House Masters.

First off, a hard synthy House tune from 1997. Lots of driving synth action, some ghetto vocal, and a heavy dose of TR-909. I think this track is quite good and could still be played out today. In fact, I think you should or at the very least, head bob to it on your headphones.

Finally, one of the hardest working House producers, DJ Sneak. He is credited for being one of the defining forces in making filtered disco-influenced House Music a hit in the early 90′s. As a result he inspired such mainstream dance artists as Daft Punk & Basement Jaxx. He’s remixed so many hit songs and made so many records that his Discog’s page is a lengthy read. Here is a track off his artist album.
