Astronomers have discovered a planet made entirely of Diamonds and Paris Hilton is at the decks DJing. The first night of EDC 2012 I found myself in a deep reflective state and amongst the glamor, cameras, lights and Borgore singing ‘My Cinnabon’ over the instrumentals of Skrillex’s Cinema remix it hit me..When I first got into the EDM scene I was able to witness the whole product in its’ raw natural state and now as things are progressing and the number of attendants, fans and financial backings are increasing the whole scene itself is evolving. I’m very excited to see artist that were small growing up and playing bigger venues, especially those who deserve it. And I feel like a Hipster for complaining when this movement means more money for the artist I do respect and enjoy (hopefully), but like a star that dies and becomes a planet made of Diamonds…where the hell is this going.
